DevOps engineer — deployment, monitoring and backups

Mission description

Make the pipeline that puts KCS services online more reliable: automated deployment, monitoring, backups and operations documentation. Short-term project of about five weeks. What you'll do • Review and strengthen the GitLab CI/CD pipelines and container deployment (Docker, Ansible) • Set up or extend monitoring and alerting • Check that backups are automatic and restorable • Write the operations runbook and train the person taking over What we're looking for • Linux, Docker, CI/CD with GitLab, Ansible or similar • A taste for monitoring and reproducibility • Awareness of access security is a plus Time commitment About 15 hours a week during the project, asynchronous, with quick syncs on urgent issues when availability allows; one handover week at the end.
