Mission description
Make technical topics easy to follow: guides for volunteers and nonprofits, developer documentation, and a tidy, up-to-date wiki. What you'll do • Write onboarding guides and step-by-step how-tos • Write FAQs and troubleshooting pages • Document the architecture and contribution workflow • Organise the wiki (categories, templates, search) and keep it current as tools change • Review developer documents and align wording with the interface What we're looking for • Clear writing and empathy for the reader • A sense of structure • Markdown • A grasp of technical concepts (APIs, authentication) is enough • French is the priority; English is a plus Time commitment About 5 hours a week, flexible hours, asynchronous collaboration with the product team and developers; the structure and style are yours to shape. How we collaborate • A team lead who welcomes you and scopes the role together: goal, scope, deliverables, rough timeline • Review and sign-off of deliverables • A 60-day mutual trial period to make sure the role is a good fit • Flexible availability, adjustable at any time, with early notice appreciated if plans change • A certificate of volunteer hours at the end of the role Every application gets equal consideration.
